abstract

 The experiments conducted in a didactic laboratory of the Kielce University of Technology involved measurements of temperature distribution on the outer surface of a steel radiator by means of two methods: thermal imaging camera and thermocouples in order to compare both investigations methods. The research included the parameters registration for a specific period of time for each of four different medium flows. The results were presented by graphs with the division of the radiator into 8 thermal fields. The results present the differences in temperatures between 1.78°C to 3.65°C. The non-contact method with infrared camera seems to be more accurate, since it is precise for surface temperature measurement.
