abstract

This article presents a study of the aerodynamic characteristics of a small H-Darrieus wind turbine to optimize its design. The article proposes correlations between the geometric and aerodynamic characteristics of the blades, optimizes the profile of the blades and their dimensions for various values of wind speed, aerodynamic forces, and rotational moments. The data obtained can be useful for the design and study of low power wind turbines operating at low wind speeds with variable direction.
