Streszczenie
In Poland, more and more often to the processing of sewage sludge is used low-input methods: composting, vermicomposting, reed bed, willow energy, solar driers. Also in the north-eastern part of Poland operate for many years successfully objects using these methods. The article presents the experience of the use of low-cost methods of sludge treatment in wastewater treatment plant located in Zambrów, Podlaskie province. The results of studies of sewage sludge on the speciacion of nickiel and zinc content after treatment by low-input methods. Sludge samples were collected in June 2012. The study samples were: dairy sludge processed by 2010. to install on a technical scale and municipal sludge processed in real scale in wastewater treatment plants in Zambrow. The total zinc content in samples of sediment and composts ranged 169,4–1223,5 mg / kg DM The highest value was recorded in the sample of municipal sludge processed by earthworm fields for a period of 2 years, and the lowest in sediments dairy willow using Effective Micro-organisms. Analysis of the individual fractions of zinc leads to the conclusion that all zinc sediment is mostly associated with the fraction F2, which is associated with oxides of Fe and Mn. The total nickel content of compost samples tested ranged 37,5–150,3 mg/kg DM The highest value was recorded in the sample of compost produced on the basis of municipal sludge processed by earthworm fields for a period of 2 years, and the lowest in composts from sewage dairy reed using Effective Microorganisms. Analysis of the fractions of heavy metals to the conclusion that all sediment nickel is mostly associated with the fraction F4.
