How to publish in Rocznik Ochrona Środowiska (Annual Set the Environment Protection)

Rocznik Ochrona Środowiska is an open access journal. Its entire content of is available free of charge in the full text version (* .pdf) under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license. In order to counteract unfair publishing practices, we apply the principles of publication ethics, in line with the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Submitting to ROS is tantamount to agreeing to the terms of the procedure according to the scheme presented below.

 

In addition, the Author must provide an original work that cannot constitute plagiarism or self-plagiarism in any part.

The editors ensure a reliable and professional publishing process. Each manuscript is judged by two independent Reviewers - research workers specializing in a given topic. Reviewers are not affiliated in the same institution as the Author (Authors) of the reviewed manuscript and there is no conflict of interest resulting from their mutual relationship. Reviews are an internal document of the Journal.

Articles will be immediately published only in English on the journal's website, after being approved by reviewers and editors.

After the paper is approved for publication, the Authors receive information on the publishing fee. The fee for an article is PLN 1,000 + VAT or equivalent in EUR or USD. In justified cases, it is possible to negotiate the fee for the article's publication.

Remarks

The editors ensure the confidentiality and security of personal data processing. All reviewed papers are treated as confidential documents. In addition, the editors reserve the right to introduce abbreviations, stylistic corrections, supplements and corrections of excessively cited literature (whose relationship with the content of the publication is questionable) if, in the editors' opinion, it will increase the substantive value and readership of the journal.
