Air pollution with PM10 particulate matter is a serious problem not only in cities but also in health resorts, particularly during the heating season. Air pollution has serious health consequences. Long-term exposure to suspended particulate matter can increase the risk of upper respiratory tract and cardiovascular diseases. This study aims to analyze the seasonal variability of PM10 pollution between 2020 and 2023 in health resorts in southern Poland. Health resorts such as Rabka-Zdrój (a mountain health resort), Rymanów-Zdrój (a foothill health resort), Iwonicz-Zdrój, and Solec-Zdrój (a lowland health resort) became the subject of study. Despite the lack of exceedances of the alarm level, a significant local abundance of permissible daily standards was observed in the analyzed health resorts. It might have an impact on the ecological and health safety of residents. In February and March, during the analyzed period, the highest levels of PM10 dust concentrations were recorded.
