Abstract
The article presents the possibilities and directions of natural bentonite application in the industrial wastewater technology. The food industry, and electromechanical as well as chemical industries were presented as the examples. On the basis of the selected cases, the advisability of natural bentonite application in wastewater treatment technology has been assessed. The analysis included the possible ecological effect, economics of the process and the sludge management.
